Further to flying to Italy aboard their private jet, our Guests soared over the shimmering crystal blue sea, rocky cliffs and verdant hills, and landed on the Villa’s own helipad in Positano, travelling in a comfortable private helicopter. Met by their local host and the Italy’s Finest staff, they settled into their very own Villa: a dream estate offering awe-striking views of the coastline. A starlit location once home of the film director Franco Zeffirelli, comprising 15 gorgeous suites - complete of all state of the art amenities - in four separate starlit luxurious homes. The estate, fully immersed in a sumptuous park of century-old tropical plants, wisteria and vines, offered our Guests a variety of comfortable deluxe outdoor areas to relax in, charmingly surrounded by the villa’s extraordinary décor: exceptional work of local craftsmen, such as ancient Vietri ceramic tiles, hand-painted glass, precious inlaid stonework.
Throughout their vacation, our Guests explored the Amalfi Coasts’ marvels, its hidden secrets and “off-the-beaten-track” treasures, travelling on board luxury private vehicles from Ravello - which enchanted important writers and artists over the centuries with its breathtaking views and majestic patrician villas - to Amalfi with its imposing cathedral and characteristic alleys. From private viewings of Naples’ loveliest historic and artistic treasures, to the world-celebrated Pompei archeological site, open exclusively for them, where a surprise champagne cocktail awaited them at sunset.
Over the days, flying over the deep blue sea’s waves aboard the private yacht at their complete disposal throughout the vacation, they also discovered the breathtaking beauty of the secret unknown corners of the islands of Capri and Ischia, had the opportunity to try challenging sporting activities, from rock climbing on Capri’s cliffs to fishing from a typical “peschereccio”, and were introduced to the ultimate lavish, yet authentic, Amalfitan lifestyle visiting the private Island of Li Galli, once home to ballet star Rudolph Nureyev, where they had cocktails and lunch with the owner.
While in Positano, our Guests indulged in the choicest culinary treats and best premium labels dining in the area’s most superb Michelin-rated restaurants, as well as in the comfort and luxury of their own private patio and terraces, lavishly served by in-house staff of the highest standard and daily entertained by exciting gourmand novelties. A mozzarella-making demonstration, led by joyous local white-clad “mozzarella ladies”, a pizza-party night, where the very best acrobatic pizza-makers of the region spent the evening baking this exquisite dish within the Villa’s kitchens, while traditional tarantella dancers in costume made the night alive swirling around to the exuberant live music played by the best musicians…
Soon, it was time for our Guests to fly homewards, soaring over the shiny blue sea... but we must have done something right if they are already discussing the details of their next Italian Dream Vacation with us!
